Aloha Beach Camp for Woodland Hills Families
If you're looking for a Woodland Hills summer camp for your child, Aloha Beach Camp gives kids something different from the usual hot Valley camp experience: real beach days, ocean activities, surfing, boogie boarding, games, friendships, and cool ocean breezes.
Aloha Beach Camp is an aquatic sports day camp for kids and teens. Campers travel to some of Southern California's best beaches, lakes, and harbor locations for safe, age-appropriate activities led by caring, experienced staff.
Free Transportation from Woodland Hills
Aloha Beach Camp is not based in Woodland Hills. We call it a Woodland Hills summer camp because so many Woodland Hills families attend and because we provide free daily transportation from the area.
Campers meet the bus each morning at the Boiling Crab restaurant at Valley Circle and Mulholland. Morning pickup is 8:45 AM and afternoon drop-off is 4:00 PM. Counselors ride along to the day's beach, lake, or harbor activity location and bring campers back to the same spot each afternoon. Just choose the Woodland Hills/Calabasas stop on your registration form.
Beach Camp Activities Kids Love
Aloha Beach Camp gives kids the chance to build confidence, try new activities, and enjoy the beach in a safe, supportive environment. No prior beach or ocean experience is required.
Popular camp activities include:
- Surfing lessons
- Boogie boarding
- Ocean swimming
- Beach games
- Ocean kayaking
- Stand-up paddleboarding
- Beach hikes
- Sand activities
- Water safety skills
- Lake and harbor activities
- Special camp events
- Friendship-building games
A Cooler Summer Alternative
Woodland Hills summers can be hot. Aloha Beach Camp gives kids a chance to spend summer days at the beach, near the ocean, and around water instead of being stuck on hot blacktop, dusty fields, or indoor facilities.
Campers come home tired, happy, and proud of what they accomplished — from catching waves to making new friends.
Flexible Day-by-Day Enrollment
Aloha Beach Camp makes summer scheduling easier. Instead of locking your family into rigid sessions, you can choose the exact days that work for your schedule.
Sign up for one day, several days, a few weeks, or build your own custom summer schedule. You stay in control.
Why Woodland Hills Families Love Aloha Beach Camp
Woodland Hills families often tell us that Aloha Beach Camp feels like the perfect escape from the summer heat. While temperatures climb inland, campers spend their days enjoying ocean breezes, beach activities, and water sports.
Free transportation makes camp easy for families, while flexible day-by-day enrollment allows parents to build a schedule that works around vacations, sports, and other summer plans.
Three Age-Appropriate Camp Programs
Campers are placed in age-appropriate programs so every child gets the right mix of supervision, independence, challenge, and fun.
- Keiki Camp: Ages 4–6, a gentle introduction to beach camp.
- Kahuna Camp: Ages 7–10, surfing, boogie boarding, games, and adventure.
- Nalu Camp: Ages 11–14, ocean adventure and more independence for older campers.
Safe, Supportive, and Instructional
Campers do not need to be experienced surfers, swimmers, or beach kids to attend. Our counselors teach activities step by step and help each camper participate at a pace that feels comfortable.
Safety, supervision, and age-appropriate instruction are built into every camp day.
