Woodland Hills Summer Camps for 2023

registration information

Aloha Beach Camp's Been Serving Woodland Hills Kids With Awesome Beach, Lake and Ocean-Based Summer Camps and Programs For 23 Years. Sign Up Now Now to See What You've Been Missing!

If you're looking for a Woodland Hills Summer Camp for your kids this year, discover Aloha Beach Camp, the Valley's best summer camp for kids and teens!  We'd like to share some fun and interesting facts about our program with you so you can decide for yourself whether Aloha's a good fit for your family.
Three Camp counselors and two campers standing together on the sand at Aloha Beach Camp with surfboards in hand.
Aloha Beach Camp is an aquatic sports summer day camp. We take day trips to L.A.'s best beaches, lakes and water parks where kids learn to surf, go boogie boarding, play on the sand, enjoy our natural beach and ocean environments, and become water safe.

No prior experience in the ocean is necessary to attend our camp because Aloha is comprised of
three age-appropriate summer camp programs (
Keiki Camp, Kahuna Camp, and High Action Camp), each of which are completely instructional.  That means campers from all aquatic backgrounds, experienced or not, are welcome to attend and enjoy our camp! (And let's face it, who wouldn't love going to summer camp at the beach compared to other Valley programs which often take place on school yards, indoor classrooms, or unduly large campsite facilities with lots of dust, heat and bees?)

When the summer is over, kids come away with a new sense of self-confidence and esteem from mastering new and exciting aquatic skills like surfing, jet skiing and boogie boarding in the ocean. They'll want to return to Aloha Beach Camp year after year!

Where is Aloha Beach Camp Based? At the Beach! (Free Transportation's Included So You Don't Have to Brave Beach Traffic Yourself)

Before we get too far into this article please don't let the title confuse you. Aloha Beach Camp is not a Woodland Hills Summer Camp per se.

In other words our program isn't
based in Woodland Hills. We simply refer to it as a Woodland Hills camp since so many kids from that area attend our program, plus offer free transportation have  bus stop at the Boiling Crab (formally Islands) Restaurant in the Woodland Hills El Camino Shopping Center.

(Aloha Beach Camp provides daily
transportation for our campers because we know it wouldn't be too convenient for you to drive your kids all the way to the beach yourself! And just in case you're unfamiliar with the Islands Restaurant we're referencing, it's located at 23397 Mulholland Dr, Woodland Hills, CA 91364.)
Aloha Beach Camp's Woodland Hills Summer Camp Bus.
Aloha Beach Camp provides free bus transportation to and from camp for for Woodland Hills kids. Campers meet the bus at the Boling Crab (formerly Islands) Restaurant at the El Camino Shopping Center each morning and afternoon.

Additional Information About Aloha Beach Camp's Summer Day Camp for Woodland Hills Kids and Teens

If you're like other Woodland Hills families who've discovered Aloha Beach Camp, it won't be long before you notice your child enjoys the freedom of going to camp at the beach rather than being contained to a site-based facility all day. Many kids who've attended other Woodland Hills summer camps who've made the switch to Aloha say one of the things they appreciate most is the ability to go to camp in comfort with cool ocean breezes instead of 100+ degree sweltering Valley heat.
But we also know you, as a parent, might have some additional questions or want more information before signing up for camp. Here's a quick rundown of some of the more common points parents want to know about. Feel free to contact us with any additional questions you may have.
  • Beach Camp Safety.  One of the comments we hear from parents quite often is this: Sending my child to day camp at the beach this summer sounds really fun, but is it safe? Rest assured many beach camp safety measures are in place and your camper will be as safe with us as they'd be at any other camp! We have a 100% safety record over our 25-year history and we intend to keep it that way!

That's why we've made it easy as possible for you to sign up for Aloha Beach Camp. There's no formal sessions you need to conform to here. Instead, you can customize your child's enrollment with our flexible "sign up for camp by the day" format as you see fit.  Choose one, two, three, four, or five days per week with no minimums. And they can be any combination of days you want!
