Join us in Hawaii this Summer for an EPIC Overnight Summer Camp Experience You Will Never Forget

Discover Aloha Beach Camp's Hawaii Summer Camp Sleepaway Program for Kids and Teens Ages 7 to 16 this Summer.

When you think of Aloha Beach Camp, our Los Angeles day camp might come to mind. But did you know we have an overnight summer camp in Hawaii, too?

That's right, it's called our "Aloha Hawaii Sleepaway" and takes place right on the beach on the beautiful North Shore of Oahu,  just steps from world-famous Waikiki Beach.
For kids seeking the most fun and adventure any camp can offer, Aloha Beach Camp's Hawaii sleepaway program for kids and teens is the place to be. We've combined the rich beauty, history, and culture of the Hawaiian Islands with the uniquely traditional American summer camp experience you already know.

Hawaii Summer Camp Overview

Aloha Beach Camp's Hawaii summer camp takes place right on the beach at Camp Mokuleia, a breathtaking 40-acre property on Oahu's beautiful North Shore.  It's a very small program with limited space for just a select number of kids. Last year the program sold out, and we anticipate even more demand this summer. If your child's interested in this program, the following information is for you.

You've never seen or experienced camp like this before. Our state-of-the-art beachfront setting offers endless opportunities for exciting Hawaii summer camp experiences your child will never forget.

Activities consist of preplanned and camper-chosen electives. During the day, swimming, surfing, hiking and snorkeling are available at your doorstep. Evenings are capped-off with skits and s'mores around the campfire while stargazing at the clear Hawaiian sky.

During their stay with us, campers live in clean cabins with their counselors and enjoy three nutritious and delicious meals a day in our modern dining-hall. Campers with specific dietary needs are gladly accommodated.

This is an extremely short program!   Our Hawaii summer camp program runs just 2 weeks from Monday, July 31 to Saturday, August 12, 2023.  You can sign up for 1 week or two week sessions. But hurry! Camp sells out fast, so if you want to register, now is the time.

Hawaii Summer Camp Program and Activities

From surfing lessons to snorkeling, and crab-catching to kayaking (and frankly, everything in between!), campers are treated to a spectacular Hawaii-themed activity program  unavailable anywhere else.

Campers enjoy a preplanned activity schedule most days with many elective activities mixed-in. If campers don't get enough of one thing, they can sign up for more.

Some activities take place on-site (like swimming in our refreshing beach-side pool or climbing our Monster Alpine Tower), while others take place off-site (like sight-seeing excursions around the island or field trips to our secret kayaking spot).

The program is filled with a perfect mix of traditional overnight summer camp activities  and   others unique to Hawaii.

No matter your child's interest, you  will find  everything you could ever want in a summer camp experience and more here at Aloha Beach Camp  Hawaii!

Accommodations

During their stay with us, campers live in gender-specific cabins with their counselors and 6 to 8 other campers. Maximum living space, modern amenities, and cabin comfort are points of emphasis.
The cabins are located just steps from the ocean.  Being at the beach, there's lots of sand, so campers and their counselors have organized jobs such as sweeping their cabins each day to maintain cleanliness. From time-to-time we may take a break from sleeping in cabins and sleep outside under the stars in tents right on the beach instead. Campers wake up every morning to the soft sounds of ocean and warm Hawaiian trade winds breeze.

With every day at camp loaded with so much adventure, it’s important campers get ample rest, quiet time, and a good night’s sleep.

Cabins are located right on the beach with beautiful mountain views just behind.
We want campers to feel like being at camp is their "home away from home. Double-decker bunks line the walls inside the cabins providing ample room for hanging out with your friends. Indoor bathrooms and private showers are provided. Counselors sleep in the cabins with the kids every night and supervise them during the day.
You know what's best about going to camp and living in Hawaii for a week or two? Your cabin is like living in your own private house without your parents, but with all your best friends and cool camp counselors, too!  You can write on the walls, take night hikes, decorate your cabin, have pillow fights and more.

You can even sneak in a cell phone or some candy and sweets... sshhhhhhh, don't worry, we won't tell the camp director!

Having trouble sleeping? No problem, let's take a night hike down the beach, dip in the pool, or join another group in the outdoor amphitheater for a dance party.

We're on Hawaiian time here...that means you do things at your own pace, and you’re gonna absolutely love it!

Meals, Food and Dining

Eating good, nutritious food is a big deal when it comes to overnight summer camp. We've all heard the all-to-common horror stories when a mom asks her kids how camp was, and they say, "Camp was great, except for the food..."
That's why you can rest assured we've gone out of our way to provide you with three healthy, nutritious and delicious meals per day at camp.

From authentic luau food, to fresh cut island fruit, to vegetarian choices and delicious Hawaiian deserts, we've got you covered with an amazing selection of mouth-watering food you'll miss when you go home.
Our staff is trained to monitor camper diets, making sure campers eat sufficiently and that meals are well balanced. Anyone with potential food allergies or other dietary restrictions are gladly accommodated. From time-to-time camp meals may be had off-site at restaurants. Camp will cover the cost of the meals in such cases.

Camp Staff

As you can imagine, just being in Hawaii is fun. But our camp counselors really add to the experience and make it the best.

When you arrive in Hawaii, our team will meet you at the airport with a big flower lei greeting for your exciting summer camp adventures ahead. Our counselors are the same friendly, mature, responsible and caring role-models that work at our day camp program, and they're committed to making sure you have the best week of summer camp of your life.

They'll help you make tons of great friends with other campers and form great bonds together.

They'll be with you every step of the way during your stay with us, making sure you have the most fun you've ever had at camp. They're all lifeguard, CPR, and First-Aid certified.
