• Keiki Camp is for our youngest campers ages 4 to 6
• Kahuna Camp is for the middle-age set between 7 and 10 years old • Nalu Camp is for our oldest kids 11 to 13 |
Aloha Beach Camp's Malibu Surf Camp is Safe and fun!
All three of Aloha's Malibu surf camp programs offer more than 200 safe and fun beach activities including surfing lessons at world-famous Zuma and Paradise Cove Beaches in Malibu, California.
The Keiki Camp surf camp takes place at Paradise Cove predominately, with occasional field trips to Zuma Beach. The Kahuna and Nalu surf camp take place at Zuma Beach.
We've chosen to operate our surf camps in Malibu because local lifeguards say its one of the best places for kids to learn to surf. The Pacific Ocean's gentle surf, clean water, soft sandy bottom and consistent wave activity will leave your child wanting more. And because Aloha Beach Camp is part of the Billabong Surf Camp network, your camper will experience quality surfing instruction with dynamic curriculum and safety-first attitude you won't find anywhere else. So whether your child is learning to surf for the first time or looking to pick up tips from the pros, Aloha Beach Camp's Malibu surf camp is your #1 summer solution!

More about Aloha Beach Camp's Malibu Surf Camp Program
How Often Do the Kids Go Surfing?
Aloha Beach Camp kids have the opportunity to surf every day they're at the beach. Generally that means every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, plus some select Thursdays when we are not on field trips (see below). Surfing is one of the largest components of our camp program in all three age groups, and we want to ensure that every camper has the chance to learn to surf when they attend Aloha Beach Camp. There will be multiple opportunities every day at camp for your child to learn how to surf and receive personal, one-on-one lessons with our incredible team of surf instructors who will be guiding and teaching your children the joys and skills of surfing.
You can view the daily activity schedules for all three programs here. That way you'll know in advance what your child is doing at surf camp from day-to-day.k |
Is Surfing the Only Activity Offered?
Absolutely not! Surfing is offered every day that we're at the beach, but it's just one activity among our comprehensive beach camp program. Boogie boarding, swimming, body surfing, skim boarding and many more activities are available, too. On some Thursdays, campers will visit Channel Islands Harbor or Oxnard Beach Park for boating, kayaking, stand-up paddle-boarding, and fun park activities like capture the flag, water rockets, and dunk tank. On these field trip days, our older campers (ages 7 and up) will enjoy kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding, while our younger campers (6 and under) will also attend these field trips and experience fun and safe boat rides with their camp counselors (free transportation is provided). These field trip days do NOT occur every week, but we include it into our program to offer our campers a complete aquatic based summer camp experience. If you want to see more pictures and videos of our camp activities and kids in action, check out our blog, YouTube or Facebook pages.
Free Transportation at a Meeting Point Near You
Kids from all over the L.A. area attend Aloha Beach Camp's Malibu surf camp program at Zuma Beach each year, but don't worry...we don't expect you to drive your kids to camp yourself.
When you sign up for our program, free transportation on buses and vans with seat belts is included from your area. Camp staff rides the buses with the kids making the bus ride safe, enjoyable and fun! When you sign up for Aloha Beach Camp, you'll come to a designated spot on your child's Registration Form asking you to choose a meeting point stop. Just choose the stop closest to your home or office and you'll be good to go. |
