You can look all over the Internet and ask 100 different friends to name the top summer camps in Los Angeles, and guess what? You might get 100 different answers!
That's because discovering the best of anything is typically a personal opinion. If my teenage son loves hockey, and he's been going to the same hockey camp the past five years, he might say that camp's the best. But if your 12 year old daughter can't get enough of the beach and surf camp she's attended the past few years here in L.A., you might feel THAT'S the best. And the truth is, both camps might very well BE the best for our respective families. :) |
This is a good lesson for all of us. Even though there's many good lists and articles online for how to find the best summer camps in Los Angeles or elsewhere, nothing can take the place of your (and your child's) experiences and opinions. Some summer camps just "feel right" to you, and therefore those camps are often "the best."
