From the way we hire and train our staff to ongoing emergency management techniques, protecting your child's safety is an obsession for us. All of our counselors are lifeguard, first-aid, and CPR certified, and our day camp program is located directly adjacent to the Zuma Beach Lifeguard Headquarters and L.A. County Sheriff Department for added security and protection. Aloha Beach Camp is also the only Accredited beach and surf camp serving Thousand Oaks kids and teens. As an accredited camp, we comply with up to 300 best-practice, industry-approved, government-recognized safety and quality standards few other camps might even know exist. Free Transportation for Thousand Oaks Campers

By now you might be wondering how to get your child to camp. We'll do the driving for you!
We offer a modern fleet of safety-equipped school buses with seat belts and a convenient meeting point for Thousand Oaks families at the Islands Restaurant at Kanan Rd. and the 101 Freeway. Your child's counselor will greet you and your child at the bus stop each morning and afternoon. We consider the bus ride to be an official part of the camp day where friends are made and personal bonding takes place between counselors and fellow campers. Campers and staff play games and enjoy lots of entertaining activities on the bus such including games, storytelling and magic shows. When you register for camp, you'll see a designated spot on your child's camp registration form where you can choose the Thousand Oaks bus stop for your child. |
