Did you know Tarzana has its very own summer camp for kids called Aloha Beach Camp? It's true! Aloha Beach Camp is for Tarzana area kids and teens who love the beach and want to learn to surf, boogie board, make new friends and have lots of fun at the beach this summer. Children as young as 4 and old as 13 are eligible to participate in the program. Even if you don't have prior experience in the beach and ocean, that's OK because all the activities are instructional and taught from the ground up. So whether you have lots of aquatic experience or you're experiencing the beach and ocean for the first time, Aloha Beach Camp's Tarzana Summer Camp is right for you!

Even kids without any prior aquatic experience are welcome to attend Aloha Beach Camp. Ocean swimming lessons, boogie boarding instruction, surfing lessons and more are included in the camp program.

Day Camp at the Beach Sounds Fun...But is it Safe?

Free Transportation for Tarzana kids With a Bus Stop at Portola Middle School

One common question we get from parents is, “Do I have to drive my child all the way from Tarzana to the beach myself?” The answer is absolutely not!  We provide FREE daily transportation for Tarzana families on fully insured school buses with seat belts, so you don't need to drive your child to camp yourself.
 If you decide to sign up for our program, part of the summer camp Enrollment Form addresses transportation. When you reach that point on your form, simply indicate you'd like to be picked up and dropped off at our Portola Middle School bus stop in Tarzana. In general, the approximate morning pickup time will be 8:30 AM, and the afternoon drop off 4:20, but we will identify exact times for you in detail as we get closer to the start of camp.

We've tried to provide as much information as possible about our program but we understand you may still have questions. Why not come to our next Open House and meet us in person at Zuma Beach, Malibu, at Lifeguard Tower 7 where camp takes place each summer and just a stone's throw away from Tarzana? The Open House takes place at Zuma Beach. Our counselors and staff will be on site to meet you and answer your questions.
