Summer 2023 is Almost Here. Time to Get Excited for Camp!
Welcome to Aloha Beach Camp's summer camp website. I'm Eric Naftulin and I own and operate Aloha Beach Camp, a Los Angeles based summer day camp for kids and teens. Even though I don't know how you arrived at our website -- perhaps you typed "summer camps" into a search engine, or maybe you followed another website's link to us -- I'm really glad you're here and hope you'll consider Aloha for your child this summer :)
Program Overview
In case you're unfamiliar with our program, Aloha Beach Camp is a summer day camp in Los Angeles for kids and teens ages 4 to 15. We run three age-appropriate beach camp programs under the Aloha Beach Camp name. All three programs focus on beach, water, and ocean safety activities. No prior aquatic experience is necessary to participate in any of our programs. From surfing to sandcastles, and boogie boarding to beach hikes, all the activities are instructional and presented at each camper's most comfortable pace. That means if you're an excellent surfer or just starting out, you have a blast at Aloha no matter what! :)
Three Aquatic Day Camp Programs to Choose From
Aloha Beach Camp is an aquatic sports day camp. All the activities center around the beach and ocean. No matter how old your camper is or which program you choose, each day will be filled with safe and fun activities led by experienced camp counselors who have your child's best interest in mind.
Here's the three programs we offer divided by age:
• Campers ages 4 to 7 will attend our Keiki Camp program this summer. Here's the Keiki Camp daily activity schedule so you can see all the fun things Keiki campers do at camp.
• Kids ages 8 and 11 attend our Kahuna Camp program. Once kids begin to outgrow other local summer camps, they often gravitate here. Here's the Kahuna Camp's daily activity schedule so you can see everything taking place all summer.
• Finally, for kids at 12 years old, we proudly present our High Action Camp. This program serves older kids and teenagers an exciting aquatic activities they won't find anywhere else. Even campers who think they're too old for day camp LOVE our High Action Camp. Here's the daily activity schedule for all the High Action activities.

Where Does Aloha Beach Camp Summer Camp Take Place?
Aloha Beach Camp does not have a fixed traditional campsite like you'd find at other camps. Instead, the beautiful southern California coastline is our campsite! Our main site is located on Zuma Beach at 30100 Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu. Every day during the summer we visit other beaches and lakes to enjoy various activities. A good deal of time -- and depending which program your child attends -- activity locations rotate between Zuma Beach, Paradise Cove and Castaic Lake. But we also visit many other activity locations, too, as shown on our camp map.

Convenient Day-by-Day Enrollment
One of the most convenient things about signing up for Aloha Beach Camp is our flexible day by day enrollment format.
If you've sent your child to other camps, you're probably familiar with "session enrollment" where you need to conform to the camp's predetermined session dates. In other words, most camps have diced up their summer schedule into prearranged time blocks which they require you to fit into when signing up for their programs. But not Aloha Beach Camp! When you sign up with us you can pick a day here, a day there, and actually create your own camp schedule all summer. You can come one day a week, two days, four days, skip a week or two, come back again -- it's totally up to you!
Free Transportation
Kids from all over L.A. attend Aloha Beach Camp, and most of the time, they come from families where both parents work. Accordingly, one of the most common questions we get from parents is, "Do I have to drive my kids to camp myself?" You'll be glad to know the answer is a resounding "NO!" That's because we offer free daily transportation for all enrolled kids. Our buses will pick-up your camper at a convenient meeting point in the morning near your home, then drop off them to meet you at the same spot each afternoon. It's the easiest way to get to camp!
