Program Overview
Aloha Beach Camp is a Los Angeles summer day camp for kids and teens ages 4 to 14. We run three age-appropriate beach camp programs, all focused on beach, water, and ocean-safety activities. No prior experience is necessary — from surfing to sandcastles and boogie boarding to beach hikes, every activity is instructional and presented at each camper's comfort level. Whether your child is an experienced surfer or just starting out, they'll have a blast at Aloha.
Three Aquatic Day Camp Programs to Choose From
No matter your camper's age, every day is filled with safe, fun activities led by experienced counselors who keep your child's best interest front and center.
Keiki Camp
Ages 4–6
A gentle introduction to the beach and ocean — sand play, boogie boarding, and Hawaiian-themed fun in a nurturing setting.

Ages 7–10
For kids and "tweens" outgrowing ordinary camps — surfing, boogie boarding, kayaking, and team beach challenges.

Where Does Camp Take Place?
Aloha Beach Camp doesn't have a fixed campsite — the beautiful Southern California coastline is our campsite! Most camp days are at Zuma Beach, 30100 Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.
Throughout the summer we also visit other beaches and fun locations for activities like kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding, so campers experience as much ocean adventure as possible.
Convenient Day-by-Day Enrollment
Most camps dice the summer into fixed sessions you have to fit into. Not Aloha. With our day-by-day enrollment, you build your own schedule — a day here, a day there, one day a week or four, skip a week and come back. It's entirely up to you, and it's one of the most convenient things about signing up with us.
Free Transportation
Kids come to Aloha from all over L.A., often from families where both parents work. So the most common question we hear is, "Do I have to drive my kids to camp myself?" The answer is a resounding no. We offer free daily transportation for every enrolled camper — our buses pick up at a convenient meeting point near your home each morning and drop off at the same spot each afternoon. It's the easiest way to get to camp.
Summer Beach Camp Open House
Join us in Malibu for our next Open House of the 2026 season. Bring your family and friends to hang out with us for a couple of hours and see exactly how a day at beach camp runs. Our counselors and staff will be there too!
