A Note from the Owner
Hi, I'm Eric Naftulin, owner and operator of Aloha Beach Camp. Lots of Studio City kids attend each summer, including many from Carpenter Community Charter, and plenty are already signed up this year. If you're looking for a safe, fun Studio City summer camp, I hope you'll consider Aloha.
One thing to be clear about: Aloha isn't based in Studio City. We're an aquatic sports day camp, so our activities happen at local beaches and venues like Zuma Beach, Oxnard Beach & Park, and Channel Islands Harbor. We call it a "Studio City summer camp" because we provide free daily transportation for Studio City families. Choose the Beeman Park meeting point on your registration form, meet the bus each morning at 8:00 AM, and your child rides with counselors to the day's beach or harbor — then back to Beeman Park at 4:45 PM.
Why Studio City Families Love Aloha Beach Camp
Studio City campers enjoy spending their summer days at the beach instead of sitting indoors. Families appreciate the convenience of transportation from Beeman Park and the opportunity for their children to learn new skills while making friends.
Many campers join us from Carpenter Community Charter School and neighborhoods throughout Studio City. Families love that campers can spend their days at Zuma Beach in Malibu enjoying surfing, boogie boarding, kayaking, and other beach adventures while still returning home each afternoon.
How Does the Camp Program Work?
No matter your child's age, there's a program designed for them. Each morning the whole camp gathers on the beach for an ocean-safety assembly — meeting counselors, lifeguards, and new campers, and previewing the day's activities. Then campers split into three age-based programs and smaller groups within them, so every child enjoys activities geared to their level.
Keiki Camp
A gentle, joyful introduction to the beach and ocean for younger kids.
Kahuna Camp
High-energy surfing, boogie boarding, and beach adventure for kids and tweens.
Nalu Camp
Ocean adventure and independence for older campers and teens.
What Are the Camp Activities?
So many fun things! Campers enjoy surfing lessons, beach games, ocean swimming, boogie boarding, and more. Everything is safe and instructional, so even first-timers have nothing to worry about — our counselors are with you every step of the way, teaching at whatever pace feels comfortable.

Where Is Camp Located?
Camp takes place at local lakes and beaches all summer. Zuma Beach in Malibu is our primary site, with a range of other venues from Channel Islands Harbor to Oxnard Beach. And you don't drive — our buses come to you in Studio City.
Free Transportation from Beeman Park
Even though camp is at the beach, you don't have to get your kids there. Just meet our bus at Beeman Park, 12621 Rye St. — 8:00 AM for morning pickup and 4:45 PM for afternoon drop-off. Many campers say the bus ride is their favorite part of the day, and it's completely free with enrollment.
Convenient Day-by-Day Enrollment
The thing parents love most: our flexible scheduling. Instead of planning your summer around rigid sessions, send your child on a day-by-day basis whenever you want — in fact, we don't even have sessions. Just pick a day here and a day there on your enrollment form. Couldn't be easier.
How Much Does It Cost?
The standard rate is $198 per child per day, with limited-time discounts throughout the summer. Tuition includes all activities, instruction, supervision, and free round-trip transportation from Beeman Park.
