Aloha Beach Camp gives Sherman Oaks kids and teens ages 4–14 a safe, fun, ocean-based summer camp experience with surfing, boogie boarding, beach games, lake days, and free transportation from the Sherman Oaks area.
A Beach Camp for Sherman Oaks Kids and Teens
If you live in Sherman Oaks and want a summer camp that feels different from the usual day camp routine, Aloha Beach Camp is a great fit. Campers enjoy surfing, boogie boarding, ocean swimming, beach games, lake activities, kayaking, paddleboarding, and more.
No prior beach or ocean experience is required. Our counselors teach activities step by step, helping campers feel comfortable, safe, and excited to try new things.
Three Age-Appropriate Camp Programs
Aloha Beach Camp is divided into three age-based programs so every child gets the right mix of supervision, independence, activities, and challenge.
Ages 4–6
Keiki Camp
A gentle introduction to beach camp, ocean play, boogie boarding, sand activities, crafts, and summer fun for younger campers.
Ages 7–10
Kahuna Camp
Surfing, boogie boarding, beach games, ocean activities, and high-energy summer fun for kids and tweens.
Ages 11–14
Nalu Camp
Ocean adventure, surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, beach activities, and more independence for older campers and teens.
How Much Does It Cost?
The regular daily rate for Aloha Beach Camp is $198 per child per day for summer 2026. We periodically offer limited-time discounts for local families, including Sherman Oaks families.
Camp tuition includes all activities, instruction, supervision, equipment, and free round-trip transportation from Sherman Oaks.
Where Is Aloha Beach Camp Located?
Aloha Beach Camp takes place at Zuma Beach in Malibu and other beach, harbor, and lake activity locations throughout the summer. Our main beach location is Lifeguard Tower 7 at Zuma Beach.
Sherman Oaks families do not need to drive to the beach each day. Free round-trip transportation is provided from the Sherman Oaks area.

Sherman Oaks families love our flexible day-by-day enrollment. Instead of committing to rigid sessions, you can choose the exact days that work best for your family.

Free Transportation from Sherman Oaks
Aloha Beach Camp provides free transportation for Sherman Oaks campers, including convenient pickup options near the Van Nuys Sherman Oaks Recreation Center.
During registration, simply choose the bus stop that works best for your family. Campers ride with supervised staff to camp and return in the afternoon.

Safety is always our first priority. Aloha Beach Camp has served Los Angeles families since 1999, and our staff is trained to provide safe, supervised, age-appropriate beach and ocean activities.
