Campers enjoy surfing, boogie boarding, ocean swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, beach games, lake activities, and more. No prior beach, lake, or ocean experience is required. Our counselors teach activities step by step so campers feel comfortable, safe, and excited to try new things.

Three Age-Appropriate Camp Programs
Aloha Beach Camp is divided into three age-based programs so every camper gets the right mix of supervision, instruction, independence, and challenge.
Ages 4–6
Keiki Camp
A gentle, joyful introduction to beach camp, ocean play, boogie boarding, sand activities, crafts, and summer fun for younger campers.
Ages 7–10
Kahuna Camp
Surfing, boogie boarding, beach games, ocean activities, and high-energy summer fun for kids and tweens.
Ages 11–14
Nalu Camp
Ocean adventure, surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, beach activities, and more independence for older campers and teens.

Campers enjoy a wide variety of safe, instructional summer camp activities. Depending on the day and program, activities may include surfing lessons, boogie boarding, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, beach games, ocean swimming, water rockets, dunk tank, and more.
Aloha is not a routine sit-in-one-place camp. Campers enjoy activity days at Zuma Beach, Oxnard Beach Park, Channel Islands Harbor, and other local beach, harbor, and lake locations during the summer.

Your child will love Aloha Beach Camp's counselors. They are energetic, friendly, supportive role models who help campers feel included, encouraged, and excited to participate.
Our staff are here to make a positive difference in your child's summer. They help teach activities, supervise groups, ride the buses, lead games, and create the fun, welcoming camp atmosphere families expect from Aloha Beach Camp.
Low Ratios and Strong Supervision
Safety, supervision, and camper comfort come first. We keep groups well-supervised and provide extra support during activities such as surfing, boogie boarding, kayaking, and ocean play.
If your child is new to the ocean or nervous about trying something new, our counselors will help them participate at a pace that feels right.
Free Transportation from McKinley Elementary School
Santa Monica families do not need to drive to the beach each day. Aloha Beach Camp provides free transportation from McKinley Elementary School at 2401 Santa Monica Blvd.
Morning pickup is 8:25 AM and afternoon return is 4:15 PM. Campers ride with supervised staff to camp and back, and transportation is included with enrollment.

Camp tuition includes all activities, instruction, supervision, equipment, and free round-trip transportation from Santa Monica.
