A Beach Camp for San Fernando Valley Kids and Teens
If your family lives in the San Fernando Valley and wants something more exciting than a traditional site-based day camp, Aloha Beach Camp is a great fit. Campers enjoy surfing, boogie boarding, ocean swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, beach games, lake activities, and more.
No prior beach, lake, or ocean experience is required. Our counselors teach activities step by step, helping campers feel comfortable, safe, and excited to try new things.
Why Valley Families Choose Aloha Beach Camp
Aloha Beach Camp gives kids a real summer adventure. Instead of spending every day at the same facility, campers visit beautiful beach, harbor, lake, and aquatic activity locations throughout the summer.
Families also love our flexible day-by-day enrollment, free transportation, trained staff, age-appropriate programs, and money-back guarantee for eligible families.
Three Age-Appropriate Camp Programs
Aloha Beach Camp is divided into three age-based programs so every camper gets the right mix of supervision, instruction, independence, activities, and challenge.
Keiki Camp
A gentle, joyful introduction to beach camp, ocean play, boogie boarding, sand activities, crafts, and summer fun for younger campers.
Kahuna Camp
Surfing, boogie boarding, beach games, ocean activities, and high-energy summer fun for kids and tweens.
Nalu Camp
Ocean adventure, surfing, kayaking, paddleboarding, beach activities, and more independence for older campers and teens.
What Makes Aloha Beach Camp So Fun?
The fun starts with our counselors. Aloha Beach Camp staff members are energetic, supportive, and focused on helping every camper feel included, encouraged, and excited to participate.
Campers also love the variety. Depending on the day and program, kids may go surfing, boogie boarding, kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, tubing, playing beach games, building sandcastles, making candy leis, launching water rockets, and more.

Flexible Day-by-Day Enrollment
San Fernando Valley families love our flexible day-by-day enrollment. Instead of committing to rigid sessions, you can choose the exact camp days that work best for your family.
Sign up for a few days, a few weeks, or build your own custom summer schedule. You can pick the days you want and create a camp calendar that fits your summer.
Beach Camp Safety
Safety, supervision, and camper comfort come first. Aloha Beach Camp has served Los Angeles families since 1999, and our staff is trained to provide safe, supervised, age-appropriate beach and ocean activities.
Campers are closely supervised, activities are taught at an appropriate pace, and ocean conditions are considered each day before activities begin. If your child is new to the ocean or nervous about trying something new, our counselors will help them participate at a pace that feels right.
Sun Safety and Shade
Because camp takes place outdoors, sun safety is a major part of our day. Campers apply sunscreen regularly, younger campers receive extra help from counselors, and beach canopies provide shade when campers are on the sand.
Free Transportation Throughout the San Fernando Valley
Valley families do not need to drive all the way to the beach each day. Aloha Beach Camp provides free transportation from several convenient San Fernando Valley meeting points.
Pickup and drop-off options include Studio City, Sherman Oaks, Encino, Woodland Hills, Porter Ranch, Calabasas, West Hills, Tarzana and nearby areas. During registration, simply choose the bus stop that works best for your family.
How Much Does Camp Cost?
The regular daily rate for Aloha Beach Camp is $198 per child per day for summer 2026. We periodically offer limited-time discounts for local families, including San Fernando Valley families.
Camp tuition includes all activities, instruction, supervision, equipment, and free round-trip transportation from selected San Fernando Valley meeting points.
