Hello and welcome to our website. My name is Eric Naftulin. I own and operate Aloha Beach Camp with my wife, Teri. We started the camp way back in summer 2000 because we felt Los Angeles kids needed a safe and fun surf camp experience they could enjoy each summer. We hope you'll agree we've created that with Aloha Beach and Surf Camp!

Instructional Surfing Lessons
|
Aloha Beach Camp is for kids and teens ages 4 to 13 and takes place at Zuma Beach. No prior surfing experience is necessary. Our camp counselors will help you learn to surf on the sand before entering the ocean. You can enter the ocean with your instructor whenever you feel ready. You will learn to surf with soft foam surfboards in gentle surf, clean water, and a soft, sandy ocean floor. Soon you will be riding the waves all the way from the ocean to the shore!

Over 200 Exciting Activities
Surfing is just one component of Aloha Beach Camp's more comprehensive aquatic day camp program. That means when you sign up for camp, you'll enjoy much more than surfing!
Campers also go boogie boarding, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, play games on the sand, and do just about everything else you could ever imagine from a safe and fun camp experience at the beach. (We operate three separate age-specific beach camp programs under the Aloha name, so your child's daily activity schedule will be determined by which program you sign up for as. No matter which program you choose, you'll enjoy have a safe and fun camp experience you'll never forget!)
Free Transportation

Aloha Beach Camp's L.A. surfing camp takes place in Malibu, but kids who attend our program live in many different parts of L.A. That's why offer free round-trip transportation when you sign up for camp. You don't need to drive your kids to camp yourself because we'll pick them up each morning at a convenient meeting point near your house and return them back again to meet you in the afternoon. Here's a tentative meeting point schedule for summer 2023 so you can find a convenient meeting point near you.

Aloha Beach Camp is excited to announce our upcoming Open House on Saturday, May 4, 2024! This special event offers you the perfect chance to see our camp in action. Immerse yourself in our vibrant atmosphere, as we showcase a wide array of activities and programs designed for boys and girls of all ages. Join us for a guided tour and get a firsthand look at the fun and learning that happens here. We're located at Zuma Beach, Lifeguard Tower 7, in Malibu, and we operate from Monday to Friday throughout the summer. While we occasionally step out for field trips, our doors are generally open, and we warmly invite you to visit us during this Open House or drop by at your convenience during the summer.
