Calabasas Summer Camps for Kids and Teens, Summer 2023

Summer 2023 is Shaping up to be the Summer Ever for Calabasas Kids and Teens at Aloha Beach Camp!

Aloha Beach Camp owner and director Eric Naftulin
Aloha Beach Camp Owner and Executive Director Eric D. Naftulin
Aloha! Welcome to Aloha Beach Camp's Calabasas Summer Camp webpage. I'm Eric Naftulin and I operate Aloha Beach Camp with my wife, Teri.  If you live in Calabasas and you're looking for a safe and fun camp experience for your kids this summer, we hope you'll consider our program. Many Calabasas kids attend camp with us each summer and we've got lots of amazing activities planned this year. We don't want your child to miss out!

Choose from 3 Age-Appropriate Calabasas Summer Camp Programs Under the Aloha Beach Camp Name

Campers attending Aloha Beach Camp choose from three separate programs according to their age. Keiki Camp is for our youngest campers ages 4 to 7. Kahuna Camp is for the middle-age set between 8 to 11. And our High Action Camp serves our oldest campers ages 12 to 15.
You can find out more about all three camps on our programs and activities page.   But no matter which program you choose, your child will enjoy the most exciting camp experience of their lives at L.A.'s best beaches, lakes and water parks with over 200 exciting aquatic activities from surfing lessons, to sand crab races, to building sand volcanoes and more. And best of all, no prior ocean experience is necessary because all of the activities are instructional, and our  camp  counselors  will teach you how to do everything while supporting you from the ground up at whatever pace that's most comfortable for you.

Convenient Day-by-Day Enrollment...Sign up for Camp Whenever You Want

Even though kids love Aloha Beach Camp's activities, sometimes parents often love our camp even more. Why?  Because you can pick and choose the days you send your child to camp. Since we don't have pre-arranged sessions, you can create your own attendance schedule according to any schedule that fits your family's busy lifestyle. Want to come to camp Monday one week, Tuesday the next, skip a week, then return for a few days later? You can do that! Want to start camp in the middle of the summer, come every other day for a few weeks, disappear for a few days, then come back again for another day or two? No problem! It's what we call day-by-day enrollment, and it means you tell us when you're coming to camp, NOT the other way around.

Free Transportation from the Boiling Crab Restaurant, Calabasas

One of the nice benefits of signing up for Aloha Beach Camp is that we provide transportation for Calabasas families so you don't need to drive your kids to camp yourself. Transportation is provided on school buses with seat belts. The buses are driven by professional school bus drivers.

You can meet our bus at the Boiling Crab (formerly Islands) Restaurant in the El Camino Shopping Center at the 101 Freeway and Valley Circle/Mulholland Drive. You will receive specific pick-up and drop off times after you sign up for camp, but generally, the morning meeting time is 8:45 AM and the PM drop-off 4:00. Our counselors also ride the bus with the kids to make the ride to and from camp for added safety, supervision and fun.

Summer Camp Beach and Ocean Safety

Here's a common thought we hear from parents who are considering Aloha for their kids: "The camp sounds fun, but I'm a little concerned about sending my child to the beach without me. Is it safe?"

We assure you, we've been operating the camp 24 years, have 100% safety record the entire time, and we intend to keep it that way! The fact is, protecting your child's safety is, and has always been, our #1 goal at Aloha Beach Camp. All of our counselors are lifeguards, first-aid and CPR certified and carry out the entire camp program with your child's
safety in mind. No need to worry! :)

Many Calabasas kids attend Aloha Beach Camp each summer, and practically every one of them loves it. We're pretty sure yours will too, but we don't want you to risk a dime to find out. When you sign up for camp, your tuition is protected by a 100% money back guarantee.  If you're not completely happy you picked Aloha, we'll give you all your money back, just like that.

Join us Sunday, March 26 at Zuma Beach, Malibu for a Calabasas Summer Camp Open House!

As you contemplate summer camp opportunities for your kids, sometimes it's easier to make a decision when you can meet the counselors and staff who will be caring for kids ahead of time. That's precisely why we're having an Open House for your convenience. Join us Sunday, March 26 at Zuma Beach, Lifeguard Tower 7 for our first open house of the 2023 summer camp season. You can get more information about the Open House here. Hope to see you there!
