Aloha Beach Camp 2025 Conditions of Enrollment

Welcome to Aloha Beach Camp!

By enrolling your child in Aloha Beach Camp, you agree to the following Conditions of Enrollment, which form a binding agreement between you and Aloha Beach Camp. Please read carefully, print for your records, and contact us with any questions.
Section 1: Registration and Payments
  1. 100% Money-Back Guarantee:
    • If your child does not love their first two days of camp, we’ll provide a full refund (excluding the $50 registration fee and any Camp Store purchases). To qualify:
      • Enroll for at least five days of camp.
      • Attend the first two scheduled days.
      • Begin on a Monday or Tuesday.
  2. Tuition and Fees:
    • Tuition covers all activities, supervision, equipment, and instruction.
    • A $50 non-refundable registration fee per camper is due at enrollment.
    • Prices are subject to change and listed on our "Prices and Discounts" page.
  3. Advance Deposit:
    • Before May 1: A $450 deposit per camper reserves space.
    • After May 1: Full payment is required.
    • Enrollment is confirmed only after written confirmation from our staff.
  4. Discounts:
    • Discounts apply to the initial enrollment only.
    • Extensions or additional days will be billed at the current tuition rate.
Section 2: Scheduling and Changes
  1. Day-by-Day Enrollment:
    • Customize your child’s schedule by selecting specific days on the Enrollment Form. Days need not be consecutive.
    • We recommend starting on a Monday or Tuesday for swimming evaluations.
    • Enrollment is subject to space availability.
  2. Enrollment Extensions and Changes:
    • Extensions are subject to availability and must be paid at the current daily rate.
    • Unlimited free changes are allowed before May 1. After May 1, changes incur a $35 fee per request unless you’ve purchased the $50 Enrollment Protection Plan.
  3. Refunds and Cancellations:
    • Cancel before May 1 for a full refund (minus the registration fee and Enrollment Protection Plan fee, if applicable).
    • No refunds, credits, or tuition reductions are offered for cancellations or withdrawals after May 1.
  4. Missed or Unused Days:
    • No refunds or credits are issued for missed or unused days. Make-up days may be offered at the camp director’s discretion, subject to availability.
Section 3: Transportation
  1. Included Transportation:
    • Daily round-trip transportation from one meeting point is included.
    • Additional meeting points are available for $15 per route or $30 per round trip.
  2. Changes and Cancellations:
    • Transportation changes must be coordinated through the camp office.
Section 4: Camp Policies
  1. Dismissals:
    • Campers whose behavior negatively impacts the camp community may be dismissed at the camp director’s discretion. No refunds will be issued for dismissals.
  2. Activity Changes:
    • Activities, locations, staffing, and schedules are subject to change without notice due to unforeseen circumstances.
  3. Health Requirements:
    • A completed Doctor’s Health Form is required for each camper, including returning campers, before the first day of camp.
  4. Code of Conduct:
    • All campers and parents must sign and adhere to the Day Camp Code of Conduct prior to attendance.
Section 5: Additional Fees
  1. Surcharges:
    • Fuel or recreation use fees may apply, not exceeding $14 or $22.65 per day, respectively.
  2. Payment Terms:
    • Fees are due upon invoicing, regardless of when they are assessed.
Section 6: Liability and Legal Terms
  1. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability:
    • Parents acknowledge the inherent risks of camp activities and release Aloha Beach Camp from liability for personal injury or property damage, except in cases of gross negligence.
  2. Medical Treatment Authorization:
    • In emergencies, parents authorize the camp to secure necessary medical treatment at their expense.
  3. Promotional Use:
    • Parents grant permission for the camp to use camper images in promotional materials.
  4. Governing Law:
    • This agreement is governed by California law, venue of Los Angeles County, for any disputes.

Acknowledgment and Agreement

I, the undersigned parent or guardian, confirm I have read, understood, and agree to the Conditions of Enrollment for Aloha Beach Camp’s 2025 program. I agree to the terms regarding fees, scheduling, and policies and understand this agreement is legally binding.
