Safe and reliable transportation, on buses and vans equipped with seat belts, digital cell phones and two-way radios is included with your tuition. Here are some of the most frequently asked questions about our transportation program.
Who drives the vehicles?
Driving duties are typically shared by contracted professional school bus drivers and our own camp counselors. In most cases, each vehicle is staffed with at least one additional staff member for safety and supervision.
Meeting Point Service
Some parents ask about door-to-door transportation, but we use convenient meeting points instead. Meeting points are preferable to door-to-door because they minimize the time your child spends on the bus and the pick-up and drop-off times stay consistent every day. Such reliability is never guaranteed with door-to-door service.
How do we choose our meeting point?
You can choose your meeting point on your enrollment form at the same time you sign up for camp.
Do the buses have seat belts?
Yes, all of our vehicles have seat belts which are required to be worn by all passengers at all times.
Pick-up and Drop-off Times
Morning pick-up is generally between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Afternoon drop-off is generally between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. This general time frame will be narrowed down to an exact time the week before your child starts camp.
Service Boundaries
The general pick-up area is bounded by Porter Ranch/Granada Hills to the North; Wilshire Blvd. to the South; Studio City/Toluca Lake to the East; and Calabasas/Agoura to the West. We also pickup points in Brentwood, the Pacific Palisades and Malibu. Even if you live outside our pick-up area, we still may be able to accommodate you so please don't hesitate to ask.
